MDIA class...my first Web Design Class

Well...here goes my first blog...

According to time i was late...but i came in time just so that i can hear what Mr. Shepherd was talking about...

Honestly...

It was like BRAIN OVERLOAD!!! So much information...so much codes and so much to remember... Thank God i wasn't "late" or too late i guess...

I chose this programme to learn more by extending my creativity and versitility...this course has helped me to grow in not only those areas so far but vocabulary in web design. The structures, the new software, everything was just one big wave of Web Design bleh...at first though...at the end of the class i understood it all...

I now realize what goes behind each web page and how persons have created it step by step. Sir went broke down bit by bit into simple language what everything does and what it means. From the keyboard shortcuts (like apple O) to the make up of an element and the importance of opening and closing tags. There was frustration many times especially when things weren't going right, but Sir's quick eye for details made everything possible.....so.... I MADE MY FIRST WEB PAGE!!! YAY ME!!!!! (Thanks Sir)...

The only thing i'm worried about so far is remembering all of the attributes and values for certain results...but most of all it's hard because i don't have a laptop or functional computer so i have to be depending on the school computers but some or most do not have the programmes and it's hard to use the labs in CARIMAC when other classes are going on or you're not allowed to use them...therefore barely enough practice...but at the begining of this semester i promised myself that i wil try real hard not to let anything hold me back....so as hard as i can i will find some way to practice as much as possible...

Best things about this class is not that i know what my final assignment is or that we're not getting group projects but that Sir says that class was the hardest class! In my mind that's a pretty good thing...

  1. Dear Sasha,

*Applause* You are the first person to send me their blog entry! Ten kool points for that.

Oh, So you don't have a computer at home? Hmmm.. You'll be just fine just try and budget your time wisely so you can get the work done. Plus I am there to see you through so you have less to worry about... I think. :)

I sent you the notes for the first 3 weeks so try and read ahead if you can and you should be fine. See you next class!

    Regards,

    Dwight Shepherd
